"Would'nt It Be Cool?"

This is a program designed to introduce 4th grade students to the workforce and show them the importance of staying in school and how a student needs math, reading, science, technology and writing skills to be successful in their careers later in life.

Through videos and talks from special speakers the 4th graders will meet two characters, Petie the PDA with his knowledge about Southwest Alabama's industries and points out how the above subjects are essential skills being used in these industries.  The other character is "bubble", he is a child's thought bubble who just wants to play and through the tour with Petie learns the importance of staying in school and learning.
